Terms of Use

Effective July 14, 2026SoulQ app for Android and iOS

By downloading, installing, or using the SoulQ mobile application (the "app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. About the app

SoulQ is an app for personal mood and feeling journaling, insights, and reminders. The app is operated by Mikuláš Báča (contact: info@soulq.cz).

2. Not a healthcare service

The app serves personal reflection only. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic care, and does not replace it. If you are going through a mental health crisis or have thoughts of self-harm, please seek professional help — for example a local crisis line, or the emergency number 112 in the EU.

3. Account

4. Your data and content

Content you create in the app (entries, notes, photos) remains yours. You grant us only the technical license necessary to store, back up, and sync it — that is, to make the app work. Personal data processing is described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Prohibited use

In particular, you must not:

6. Intellectual property

The app, its name, logo, and all content supplied by the operator are protected by copyright. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal purposes.

7. Availability and changes to the service

We strive for uninterrupted availability but do not guarantee it. We may modify, add, or remove app features. We will inform you about material changes in the app.

8. Liability

The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage arising from the use of the app, service unavailability, or data loss. We recommend backing up important data regularly. Nothing in this section affects consumer rights that cannot be contractually excluded.

9. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by deleting your account and uninstalling it. The operator may suspend or terminate an account in the event of a serious breach of these terms and will inform you of such a step.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of the Czech Republic. Consumers may also contact the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (coi.cz) for out-of-court dispute resolution.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will inform you about material changes in the app or by email. By continuing to use the app after changes take effect, you accept them.
